Joy Perkins (at right) founded Omnibus Organizing in 2005 after gathering life experiences as an office manager and a teacher. Omnibus Organizing is located in San Ramon, CA, and serves clients throughout the Bay Area. Joy is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and involved in on-going professional development activities with other organizers. She has volunteered as the East Bay Group Coordinator, Planning Committee Member for the San Francisco conference for several years and welcomed new members as a NAPO Ambassador. Sharing her enthusiasm for organizing methods and products keeps Joy focused and informed to best support her clients. Special CircumstancesDownsizing, elder care, blending families, welcoming a new baby – these can be stressful times for a family. Omnibus Organizing can keep you on track. Having someone who is not emotionally invested in the upheavals is calming and provides the leadership that enables everyone involved to be more productive. Why Such a Complicated Name?Omnibus has two meanings – "pertaining to, or dealing with numerous objects or items at once," which pretty much describes organizing. And the iconic double decker bus – Joy's Mum was in the first cohort of women that London Transport trained to drive these behemoths. |
